ITINERARY

DAY 1 | HALONG INTERNATIONAL PORT – SUNG SOT CAVE – TITOV ISLAND

12:00 | Check-in

Arrive at Halong International Harbour, where the Athena team warmly welcomes you. Complete the check-in procedures and luggage registration at the waiting lounge before boarding.

12:30 | Embarkation

Transfer to Athena Cruises by tender boat. Upon boarding, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink while the Cruise Manager introduces the crew, provides a safety briefing, and presents the cruise itinerary.

12:45 | Lunch On Board

Savor a delicious lunch in the elegant onboard restaurant as the cruise sets sail into the spectacular seascape of Halong Bay. Admire the iconic limestone formations and emerald waters while enjoying your first dining experience onboard.

14:45 | Sung Sot Cave Exploration

The cruise anchors near Bo Nau Cave (Pelican Cave), located in the core area of Halong Bay’s World Heritage Site. Continue by tender to visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave), the largest and one of the most impressive caves in Halong Bay, renowned for its extraordinary stalactites and vast chambers.

15:45 | Titov Island

Continue by tender to Titov Island, named after Soviet cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov, who visited the island with President Ho Chi Minh in 1962.

Enjoy a light breakfast served in the restaurant before the morning excursion.

Visit the tranquil Luon Cave, one of Halong Bay’s most beautiful natural lagoons, surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and lush vegetation.

Choose one of the following experiences:

• Traditional bamboo boat rowed by a local boatman (public ticket: VND 50,000 per person)

Return to the cruise to relax and complete the check-out process. Please place your luggage outside your cabin door, where our crew will collect and transfer it to the pier.

Enjoy a delightful brunch buffet while the cruise sails back toward Halong International Harbour.

10:45 | Disembarkation

Transfer by tender to Halong International Harbour.

To ensure the best travel experience during the peak summer season, Athena Group will temporarily adjust the order of sightseeing activities between Luon Cave (Day 1) and Titov Island (Day 2) for departures from 7 July 2024 to 31 August 2024. Please refer to the applicable Summer Itinerary for details.

The itinerary may be adjusted without prior notice due to weather conditions, tidal levels, or operational requirements to ensure passenger safety.

ONBOARD WIFI

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available onboard. However, internet connectivity may be intermittent due to the geographical conditions of Halong Bay, where limestone mountains can interfere with satellite signals.

SINGLE & EXTRA BED POLICY

• The second child under 5 years old in the same cabin using an extra bed: 75% of the adult rate
• Children aged 11 years and above: Charged at the adult rate.
